Managing Product Risk File Characteristics

A supplier manufactures a part according to specifications which contain quality characteristics about the part. Characteristics are added to products in product risk files to capture the Risk Planning information required to meet regulatory requirements.

NOTE: Each combination of Product, Characteristic, Type, Descriptor, Nominal, and Unit must be unique.

  1. From the Product Risk File record, click Other Actions > Manage Characteristic.
  2. Enter the information in the following fields.
